MCHA is seeking qualified contractors to perform Unit Turnarounds and rehabilitation of [13] public housing units, which range from 1-bedroom to 5-bedroom. MCHA will accept proposals until Thursday, April 16, 20206 at 3:30pm and cost proposals must be valid for ninety (90) days following the opening date.

Employee Benefits Brokerage

MCHA is seeking a qualified, licensed benefits brokerage and consulting firm to support its employee medical, dental, and vision insurance programs. Services will include benefits strategy, plan administration, renewals, cost management, open enrollment support, and regulatory compliance guidance. Proposals are due Monday, September 14, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. and must be submitted as four hard copies in a sealed envelope.

Waste Collection and Disposal

MCHA is seeking a qualified, licensed waste management provider to provide waste collection and disposal services for Lakeland Estates at 100 Merrihill Drive in Michigan City. Services include regular trash collection, refuse containers, bulky item pickup, hazardous/regulated waste removal, and coordination with MCHA staff for missed pickups, overflow, and special collection needs. The initial contract will be for two years, with the option to renew for up to three additional one-year terms. Proposals are due Friday, September 18, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. and must be submitted as four hard copies in a sealed envelope.
