Housing Choice Voucher Administrative Plan

The Housing Authority of the City of Michigan City, Indiana (MCHA) invites comments from the public on its Administrative Plan (Admin Plan) for the operation of the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program.
A Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Administrative Plan is a required HUD-mandated document that outlines local policies for running the HCV program. It establishes rules for eligibility, waiting lists, inspections, rent calculations, and program compliance. Updated annually, it ensures consistency with federal housing laws and agency goals.
The Admin Plan is available for review and comment by the public from February 13, 2026, until March 17, 2026, at the following locations:

Public Comments will be taken through March 17, 2026, and will be considered for inclusion in the final plan effective for April 1, 2026.
